What is axe throwing?

Axe throwing is like darts, but way cooler — you throw real axes at wooden targets in a safe, supervised environment. Beginners welcome, adrenaline guaranteed, and bragging rights optional.

Think of it as therapy with a sledgehammer. Smash, break, and throw stuff to your heart’s content — without cleanup or judgment. We provide the breakables, tools, and protective gear; you bring the fury.

Is axe throwing safe?

Absolutely. Our Axeperts give you a safety briefing, show you the ropes, and make sure your throws stay on target. Closed-toe shoes required — and yes, that includes sneakers.

Do I need experience to try axe throwing or a rage room?

Nope. Most guests are total newbies. We’ll show you how to throw, smash, and survive your first session without losing a finger (or dignity).

Are there age restrictions?

Guests under 18 need a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Axe throwing is recommended for ages 10+. Younger kids can join the fun with suction-cup targets, Velcro sets, or other kid-friendly games. Rage room guests under 10 must be with a parent or guardian at all times — safety first, chaos second.

Is TN Axe and Smash good for date night or first dates?

Oh yes. Forget boring dinners. Throw axes, smash things, and compete for laughs — awkward small talk optional. It’s energetic, memorable, and maybe the only place where flirty destruction counts as bonding.

Is the experience competitive or more laid-back?

Both! Playful competition encouraged, but no pressure. Laugh at your own bad throws, cheer each other on, and maybe shame your date a little — all in good fun.

We’re Murfreesboro’s only rage room and laid-back axe venue. No stiff competition, no stuffy rules — just a place to have fun, relieve stress, and make memories. Bonus: your friends might leave with smashed TVs and a story they’ll never forget.

Can we hang out after our session?

Sure thing. Bottled beer is available for guests 21+, and many people stick around to play games, relax, and watch the action.

We accept most household goods made of glass, ceramic, and porcelain. We accept items that are made up of a combination of mostly glass/ceramic and a little plastic, wood, or metal, but prefer not to take fully plastic, metal, wood, or melamine items.

Please stop by during our business hours and check with staff at the front desk, who will let you know if we can accept your donation and will either take it off your hands or let you know where to meet them behind the building for help unloading. Do not drop items in front of the building and please do not dump trash or unaccepted items.

Some items can be paid for, so ask staff about our recycling program.
