What is axe throwing?

Axe throwing is like darts, but way cooler — you throw real axes at wooden targets in a safe, supervised environment. Beginners welcome, adrenaline guaranteed, and bragging rights optional.

Think of it as therapy with a sledgehammer. Smash, break, and throw stuff to your heart’s content — without cleanup or judgment. We provide the breakables, tools, and protective gear; you bring the fury.

Is axe throwing safe?

Absolutely. Our Axeperts give you a safety briefing, show you the ropes, and make sure your throws stay on target. Closed-toe shoes required — and yes, that includes sneakers.

Do I need experience to try axe throwing or a rage room?

Nope. Most guests are total newbies. We’ll show you how to throw, smash, and survive your first session without losing a finger (or dignity).

Are there age restrictions?

Guests under 18 need a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Axe throwing is recommended for ages 10+. Younger kids can join the fun with suction-cup targets, Velcro sets, or other kid-friendly games. Rage room guests under 10 must be with a parent or guardian at all times — safety first, chaos second.

Is TN Axe and Smash good for date night or first dates?

Oh yes. Forget boring dinners. Throw axes, smash things, and compete for laughs — awkward small talk optional. It’s energetic, memorable, and maybe the only place where flirty destruction counts as bonding.

Is the experience competitive or more laid-back?

JUST NEED A MEETING SPACE?

We offer facility rental without activities, too. This is $150 per hour with a 2 hour minimum, and the venue is available only outside normal business hours. Call for details.

TN Axe and Smash is more than just axes and rage. We have darts, pool table, tabletop games, Nintendo Switch on the big screen, Hammerschlagen, arcade games, and more. Full facility rental includes access to all this, as well as full staff support throughout your event.

TN Axe and Smash has flexible catering options. We can work with ANY catering provider in the Murfreesboro area. If you would like to request something not listed in our calculator just give us a call and let us know.
